Mr. Islam Hisham is an appellate attorney, arbitrator, and lecturer, and the Founder & Managing Director of Sports & Justice , a leading international law firm exclusively dedicated to Sports and Entertainment Law, with offices in Cairo and Riyadh.
With over a decade of experience, he has represented clients in landmark sports disputes across the Middle East and Africa before national and international judicial bodies, including the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the FIFA Football Tribunal, Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC), Players’ Status Committee (PSC), CAF, AFC, BAT, and SAFF DRC/PSC.
He holds two Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees, in International Sports Law from ISDE (Spain) and in International Trade Law from Cairo University , together with four postgraduate diplomas in Private Law, Public Law, International Trade Law, and Sports Law & Management (FIFA/CIES).
A former football player and active referee under the Egyptian Football Association, Islam brings a unique blend of legal expertise and on-field insight, offering his clients practical strategies rooted in both law and the spirit of sport.
Driven by a belief that justice in sport is both a right and a responsibility, he leads Sports & Justice with a clear mission, to elevate and redefine sports law practice across the Arab–African region through excellence, innovation, integrity, and ethics.
Mrs. Shimaa El-Daly is an international lawyer and the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Sports & Justice, a law firm specializing in sports law across the MENA region and Africa. She currently leads both the Women’s Football Legal Disputes Division and the Sports Corporate & Commercial Affairs Department, where she provides legal representation to female athletes, sports organizations, and corporate clients in disciplinary, contractual, regulatory, and commercial matters related to the sports industry.
She holds a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from the National Institute of Intellectual Property (Egypt), and is also a graduate of the CAF Football Management Executive Programme conducted in partnership with the University of Cape Town (South Africa). She has represented clients before leading international sports bodies including FIFA, CAS, CAF, AFC, FIBA, and the IOC, and has contributed to high-profile cases involving sponsorship, broadcasting, and player transfers.
Shimaa has also been actively involved in the founding of multiple sports-related companies, focusing on women’s sports media, commercial deals, and digital platforms. Her legal work includes negotiating sponsorship agreements for professional players and advising on broadcasting contracts with regional sports networks.She is a member of the Policy & Legal Committee at AWIS and Women in Football (WIF) in London.
She is also affiliated with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, and is officially registered by the General Authority for Investment (GAFI) in Egypt as a Delegate for Corporate Incorporation. Her expertise bridges sports law, commercial strategy, and intellectual property, making her a prominent voice in shaping the legal landscape for women in sport.
